How old must a child be to enroll in TISD Pre-K?
Pre-K students must be 4 years old by September 1, 2010 to enroll.
How old must a child be to enroll in Kindergarten?
Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by September 1, 2010 to enroll.

We just moved to Temple. How do I find out which school my child will attend?
Call Central Administration (254-215-8473) and they'll look it up by your street address. We are working on an electronic resource to help you find it online.
I have a child who has never been in Pre-K in Temple ISD before. When/Where do I register?
Pre-K Registration is May 11 & 12 at Freeman Heights Administration Offices (300 S. 27th Street).
I have a child who is currently in Temple ISD Pre-K program. When will they register for Kindergarten?
Current Temple ISD students do not have to "re-enroll" when moving from one grade to the next. We will take current Temple ISD Pre-K students on a "field trip" to their new Elementary school May 6, 7, 13 and 14. (ask your Pre-K for the specific campus visit schedule) Parents, you are welcome to meet your child at the Elementary School for a tour.
I have a child who is not in a Temple ISD Pre-K program and is going into Kindergarten. When/Where do I register?
Centralized Registration is August 2-6, 2010 and is for any student new to Temple ISD (grades Pre-K-12) at Freeman Heights Administration Offices (300 S. 27th Street).
