Community Input Survey:
The Community Input Committee prepared a survey for community input during the month of April. There were over 1500 results from TISD Staff, Parents and members of the community. To view the results, click HERE (PDF).
Conceptual Proposal:
SHW Group presented a CONCEPTUAL proposal to the Exploratory Committee. This presents an itemized list of Minor, Moderate and Major Renovation projects for Lamar and Travis Middle Schools and Jefferson Elementary. Purpose:
- The primary responsiblity is to gather as much information as possible in order to determine the feasibility of putting a bond before Temple voters.
- It is NOT a PAC (Political Action Committee) - its purpose is not to support or "sell" a bond.
- All meetings will be posted and open to the public.
- All minutes and documents shared in meetings will be posted on www.TISD.org.
- There will be two sub-committees: Voter Registration & Community Input. To volunteer for one of these commitees, please email Marilyn Krumnow.
- Next Meeting: Thursday, July 15, 2010 - 6:00 p.m. - Temple Public Library, McLane Room, 3rd Floor

- District Administrators met with representatives of every campus and department in Temple ISD for the purpose of gathering information and feedback on facility issues, needs and wants. That report was compiled into two documents:
