Temple alum Quentin Johnston is National Football League bound after being selected in the first round of the NFL draft Thursday night (April 27) in Kansas City.
Johnston, a former three-sport star at Temple High School, was taken with the 21st pick in the opening round by the Los Angeles Chargers. Johnston was a standout wide receiver for Texas Christian University and held lead TCU to the National Championship Game this past season.
