The Temple Wildcats football team stormed back from an early deficit to post a 57-34 victory over McKinney Boyd in the 2023 season opener Friday night in McKinney. The victory is the 800th all-time win for the Wildcats as Temple High School becomes just the fourth program to reach that milestone in Texas High School football history. The district will recognize and celebrate the accomplishment at the Wildcats home opener against College Station High School on September 8th at Wildcat Stadium. Temple is 1-0 to start the season and will return to action with a road game at Willis High School on September 1st.
