The Temple Independent School District wants to extend a “thank you” to everyone who voted in the 2015 Bond Election.
Unofficially, 3,653 voters cast a ballot, and with 64% of the vote (2,337 in favor, 1,316 against) voters approved the $136.5 million dollar bond package.
Temple ISD Superintendent Dr. Robin Battershell said, “The facilities built with this bond will outlive most of us who have been involved with the bond. They will be here for many generations of Temple students to come. We humbly thank our community for believing in us. We now must live up to the trust that has been bestowed upon us.”
