Dr. Robin Battershell will remain the superintendent for the Temple Independent School District for another year.
The Board of Trustees unanimously approved President Steve Wright’s recommendation to extend Battershell’s contract for one year at Monday night’s board meeting.
“We are given the privilege of working really closely with Dr. Battershell and we just couldn’t be more grateful,” Wright said at the meeting. “She does an outstanding job and we, as a district, are very blessed.”
Battershell smiled and thanked the board.
