The lives of two men around the world forever changed due to the generosity of Scott Scotties and their families and friends.
Students at Scott Primary Years Programme International Baccalaureate School partnered with LIMBS International to raise awareness of amputees in the developing world and their living conditions.
LIMBS is a nonprofit organization which provides prosthetics to amputees in underdeveloped countries.
$300 provides a prosthetic limb to an amputee in need.
Scott Elementary collected coins during a coin drive called “Making a Change…One Coin at a Time”.
With the help from every kindergarten through fifth grade class, Scott students collected $754.01 to donate to LIMBS International.
As a result of our students’ giving hearts, two people’s lives were changed with the gift of a new leg.
