In an effort to involve and inform parents throughout the educational process, this week Temple ISD will begin providing periodic reports explaining your student’s progress in the areas of reading and math. Families can expect these reports to be sent home with students three times per year, October, January and May.
These results will allow you to understand the instructional level at which your student is performing. Although these results are only one measure of your student’s success, they are used to determine the support needed to improve student achievement.
The results will also include tips for parents/guardians to support the development of your student’s reading and math skills. Please feel free to contact your student’s teacher if you have any questions about these results or activities. We want to make sure you have as much information as possible about your student’s educational growth, and we thank you for partnering with us to support your student’s education both at school and at home.
