| The Annual Temple Tree Lighting and Christmas Parade has brought delight and holiday cheer to Temple residents for many years. Join us on the First Monday in December for one of the largest lighted Christmas parades in Texas and help welcome Santa Clause to Downtown Temple! |
On Tuesday, December 6th, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. the tradition continues as dozens of colorful floats, marching bands, and decorated rides make their way through downtown Temple, each covered with hundreds of lights! This years parade theme is "It's Christmas! A Time for Peace, Love and Joy"
Join the community to watch local businesses, groups, and dignitaries parade through Downtown Temple in celebration of Christmas and to welcome Santa Claus to Central Texas.
Immediately before the parade, we will light up the Municipal Building's decorations and the City's Christmas tree.
