At their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, January 9, the Board of Trustees unanimously approved a one year contract extension for Temple ISD Superintendent Dr. Robin Battershell.
Board President Steve Wright shared comments from all board members about their evaluations of Dr. Battershell before the contract extension was approved.
Dr. Battershell has served as the superintendent of Temple ISD since 2008, and under her leadership voters have approved two bond elections to modernize Temple ISD schools, and a Tax Ratification Election to provide increased funding for technology, science equipment, band and orchestra equipment, library collections, additional security, and new school buses.
