At their regularly scheduled meeting on January 9, the Temple ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved new middle school attendance boundaries and English Language Learner boundaries.
These will go into effect in the 2017-2018 school year, but the middle school boundaries will only apply to incoming 6th grade students, not 7th and 8th grade students.
Temple ISD held two public meetings and collected comments through phone calls, emails and social media before presenting these changes to the board and asking for their approval.
