Temple Independent School District recently honored retiring Temple City Manager Jonathan Graham with the Friends of Temple Wildcat Award.
Board of trustees president Steve Wright announced the award at a recent board meeting.
“The Friends of Temple Wildcat Award allows the district to formally recognize high-level partners and individuals for contributions to Temple ISD,” Wright said.
Wright also read out comments from Graham’s nomination for the award.
“Jonathan Graham was not born a Wildcat but he became a Wildcat,” Wright said. “Jonathan has supported all things Wildcat, first as the city of Temple attorney and then as city manager. Over his tenure as city manager, Jonathan supported Temple ISD bond and TRE (tax ratification) elections, helped Temple become safer, cleaned up neighborhoods, and helped TISD realize its dream of having a downtown TISD administration building.”
