The Temple Wildcats Football Team opened the 2016 season with a 28 - 20 win over the Belton Tigers at Tiger Field in Belton on on Friday, August 26. The blue victory light is shining bright atop Wildcat Stadium

Men from around Temple gathered to welcome students back to Garcia Elementary with high fives and hugs.

Belton ISD is reporting a sell out for the Temple vs. Belton football game at Tiger Field. However, there are a number of ways you can follow the Wildcats live against Belton, and all season long.

This year's Wildcat Football broadcast on K101.7 FM will include an enhanced social media presence, and a Coach's Show on Monday night.

The switch to a new phone service provider is complete, and as of 10:45 a.m. on Friday, August 26, all Temple ISD phones should be working again. If you still have trouble calling in, please use the parent emergency cell phone numbers listed.

The first day of school in Temple ISD is Tuesday, August 23rd.

Teachers are back this week! It takes more than great lesson plans to succeed as a teacher. Temple High School teacher Andrea Fifield posted the following perspective on her personal blog, and is graciously letting us share it. Please take a moment this week to thank a teacher as they prepare for a great 2016-2017 school year.

As campuses, students and bus drivers get used to new routes, Temple ISD busses are running an hour + late Tuesday afternoon.

Thank you for your patience as we ensure all students are dropped off at the right stop.
