• 00:57 Air Force JROTC presents POW flag at Temple High School Featured

  The POW Flag made its way to Temple High School on Friday, January 26. On behalf of THS Air Force JROTC, it’s was truly an honor for the cadets who were able to present the flag.
  
  All gave some, but some gave all.
  
  We hope to see the travels of the flag, and to see the unaccounted for men and women of all services make it home safely.
  
  We share this to spread the word, to show the importance of the POW flag, & to show they have never been, & will never be forgotten.
  
  The cadets in this video are the Spring 2018 Corps Commander C/Col Marcquice Walker, Vice Corps Commander C/Col Bri’Anna Hernandez, & Squadron Deputy C/ MSgt Alejandro Enriquez.

  Temple ISD remembered 9/11 in a number of ways, including soldiers leading students in the pledge, the national anthem and a freedom walk at Raye-Allen Elementary School, remembrance through the morning announcements at Western Hills Elementary School, a ceremonial flag raising at Wheatley Alternative Education Campus, and at Lamar Middle School soldiers held a ceremonial flag raising and the Lamar band played the national anthem in front of the entire campus.

• 2:25 Temple College Dental Visits the Safe Place Summer Camp Featured

  Dental students from Temple College paid a visit to the Safe Place Summer Camp on June 29 and children held an Independence Day celebration and had a water day on July 3. The camp runs on Monday and Thursday afternoons, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. through July 20 at Meridith-Dunbar, 1717 E. Avenue J. The camp is free and open to all Temple ISD students.
